Pink Crepe Myrtle is hardy in zones 7 through 9

The Pink Crepe Myrtle is the perfect year-round addition to any garden. Its easy-care guild and beautiful structure will cause any person with a green thumb to fall in love with it.

This gorgeous tree has hardy zones of 7 to 9. That means that Western and Southern states have a suitable climate to allow these trees to grow.

Though these trees are easy to care for, a couple of details will help aid in its nurturing. Soil requirements are essential to any flower, plant, and tree. For this particular tree, make sure to provide well-drained and slightly fertile soil. Not providing the correct soil could result in the tree blooming late or the tree not surviving. Next, sunlight is essential to this particular tree. Make sure the tree is planted in an area that gets uninterrupted sunlight. Also, try not to plan the tree close to a south-facing wall as this can affect the tree's health. A south-facing wall can absorb heat from the sun during the winter months, causing the tree's growth to pause or slow down. That could result in delayed flowering.

Pink Crepe Myrtle bloom in the summer months

If the tree is maintained correctly, one can expect a blossoming event that will make neighbors jealous. The blooming season occurs during the summer and autumn months. The summer months bring the enormous flowering. Once the flowers have bloomed fully, one can clip the flowers to make way for a smaller second beautiful blossoming.

Although the blossoming months are during the summer and autumn, this tree can show more beautiful qualities. Its appearance includes a height of about 20 to 25 feet, providing an excellent shade tree to sit under and relax. The leaves are green when they first appear, but once the spring and fall months have passed, the leaves turn orange or yellow, revealing gorgeous fall foliage. Through all stages and seasons that the tree goes through, the bark can beautifully coordinate with every leaf color and flower color.

This tree can add luster to any garden or yard. Become the talk of the neighborhood and purchase one today.
